Bosch Building Technologies case study overview

Pacific Life Center

Bringing a vision of a smarter, more connected campus to life. The result is a fully integrated technology environment built to support efficiency, safety, and long-term growth.

Bosch Building Technologies was chosen by BNBuilders as the design-build subcontractor for Pacific Center's building automation, audio visual, integrated security, structured cabling, and two-way communication. Through the combined work of Bosch BT's teams, highlighted by their excellent communication, were able to circumvent the risks of scope gaps and seamlessly integrated a fully featured technology suite for the 800,000 square foot campus.

Large Data Center Customer

Transforming a major hospital and data center with fully integrated building technologies, connecting security, BAS, energy, and networks for safer, smarter, and more efficient operations.

Bosch Building Technologies provided integrated Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) for a global data center, enhancing real-time visibility and operational control. The solution addresses key challenges such as maintaining safe equipment temperatures, managing power consumption, responding to critical alarms, and ensuring redundancy during outages. Through automation, the customer can monitor performance metrics, receive immediate alerts, and maintain continuous power via generators and backup systems. These integrations have improved reliability, energy management, and scalability, strengthening the customer partnership for future growth.

Heidelberg Materials

Bosch Building Technologies was selected to design and deploy a standardized security and surveillance solutions for Heidelberg Materials, one of the world's largest building materials companies, with operations spanning more than 500 locations across North America and nearly 3,000 sites globally.

Following an in-depth review of Heidelberg's operational and security requirements, Bosch proposed a unified Genetec platform integrating video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and centralized control room operations. The program has a strong initial focus on CCTV and Heidelberg's High Reliability Operations Cener (HROC), with expansion underway into intrusion detection, access control, visitor management, vehicle gates, and monitoring services.

Implentation has begun across more than 450 North American sites, including cement plants, aggregate facilities, ready-mix locations, warehouses, and retail operations. A key component of the program is the consolidation of 14 regional control rooms into a single virtual room using VuWall KVM solutions integrated with Genetec. The partnership is supported by a Master Services Agreement covering both Canada and the United States, with ongoing work to establish an SLA. Collaboration with Heidelberg's global team is also opening doors to international pilots, including initiatives in Germany.

This program showcases Bosch's ability to deliver large-scale, standardized solutions while remaining flexible to site-specific operational needs.
