Protection for people and material assets
A modern fire alarm system, including voice alarm signaling, ensures operational reliability in the hospital
The Sana Klinikum Offenbach is an academic teaching hospital of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt and one of the largest hospital facilities in the Rhine-Main region. As a maximum care hospital with over 900 beds, the hospital has 24 specialist clinics, three institutes and certified specialist centers as well as the largest emergency room in Hesse. Approximately 2,600 employees provide optimum care to around 39,000 inpatients and 74,000 outpatients each year using the latest medical diagnostic and therapeutic methods. The task of modernizing the fire alarm system while the hospital remained fully operational was very challenging. The emergency response plan for sudden emergency surgeries and intensive care unit requirements had to be adhered to. Work could only be carried out in specific time slots with the possibility of immediate interruption at any time.
