Arena Zagreb is the largest sports hall in Croatia. It was built in 2008 for the purpose of hosting the 21st Handball World Championship. Meanwhile, it has become a new architectural symbol of the City of Zagreb.
The security system of the Zagreb sports Arena was designed and implemented by integrating various Bosch and some non-Bosch systems. The installed Fire Alarm System combines almost 2,000 fire detectors and other peripheral devices controlled by one modular FPA5000 fire panel with redundancy.
The Garden Mall in Zagreb was opened in 2009 and offers a variety of all different kind of shops on a useable area of almost 26,000 m².
To ensure the safety of customers and employees of the Garden Mall Shopping Center at all times, a reliable safety system was indispensable. The Fire Alarm System which was installed by Bosch is based upon a 5000 Series Modular Fire Panel and allows complete control of fire detection in the shopping center. The 1,000 fire detectors offer the highest security and safety standard.
This project is the first concession for wastewater treatment plant in Croatia. For city of Zagreb it allows the adaptation and compliance with environmental standards of the European Union in the field of environmental protection and biological water purification.
The most important objective for this project was the safety of employees, as well as the safety of the entire plant. Therefore, reconstruction of the old system was carried out, and was additionally expended. The installed Bosch solution consists of five UEZ2000 fire alarm systems connected via fiber optics in the SRT network, one FPA5000 fire alarm network and one BZ500 fire alarm system at a remote location.
