EU REACH Compliance & SVHC Declarations

Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH) governs the safe use of chemicals within the European Union and is overseen by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
Pursuant to Article 33 of REACH, suppliers must notify customers whenever an article contains a substance from the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in a concentration exceeding 0.1% (w/w).
Bosch Building Technologies actively monitors its products and maintains close communication with suppliers to assess ongoing compliance as ECHA updates the Candidate List. In accordance with current data, certain articles contain SVHC substances above the 0.1% threshold.

Electrical and electronic waste with WEEE symbol

WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU)

The WEEE Directive, implemented through national law, sets rules for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment. Its obligations fall primarily on producers, and it applies to equipment within the categories defined in the directive, subject to its stated exclusions. The directive aims to prevent and reduce the adverse impacts of electrical and electronic waste and to improve the efficiency of resource use.

WEEE Recycling/Disposal Instructions
The Wheelie Bin symbol found on the product or in the owner's manual indicates that this product must not be disposed of with other waste. In the B2B (Business-to-Business) category, it is the responsibility of the producer to manage Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) correctly at the end of its life.
Bosch Building Technologies provides take-back for its products at end-of-life in accordance with the WEEE rules for products placed on the market within Germany or any other mainland European country.
